Fazer signs with cellist Kian Soltani

We are happy to announce that the 22 year old Persian-Austrian cello virtuoso Kian Soltani has joined the Fazer Artists’ Management roster.

Kian Soltani is quickly establishing an international reputation as one of the new generation’s most prodigious young concert artists – praised for his technical mastery and profound, mature conviction. By the time he won first prize at 2013’s International Paulo Cello Competition in Helsinki, Kian Soltani had joined the top rank of today’s new generation of cello soloists, acclaimed for his deep musical passion and complete mastery of the instrument.

His earlier first prizes include the Karl Davidoff International Cello Competition in Latvia as well as the International Antonio Janigro Competition in Croatia.
His recent debuts include solo engagements with Basel Sinfonietta, Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Tapiola Sinfonietta, Sinfonieorchestra Liechtenstein, Zagreb Soloists, Georgian Chamber Orchestra, Arpeggione Chamber Orchestra, Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, Jyväskylä Sinfonia, Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, Vienna Chamber Orchestra.

He regularly serves as principal cellist with the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra project, under Maestro Daniel Barenboim.
