Fazer signs with Kalle Kuusava

Conductor Kalle Kuusava is the fresh winner of European Conductors Competition


We are happy to announce that the Finnish conductor Kalle Kuusava has joined the Fazer Artists’ Management roster. Kuusava is the fresh winner of European Conductors Competition in Oslo.

Kalle Kuusava began his studies as pianist at the Lahti Conservatory and later moved on to Sibelius Academy where he studied with Ilmo Ranta, focusing on chamber music and lied. He was an exchange student at the Vienna University of Music during 2005-2006 season. He completed master's degree in orchestral conducting at the Norwegian Music Academy in the spring of 2012 under the guidance of Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Ole Kristian Ruud and Are Sandbakken.

He has worked with the Norwegian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, the Tampere Philharmonic, and Kuopio and Vaasa City Orchestras among others. He also performs actively as a chamber musician and lied pianist.
